Surface EMG Biofeedback
Surface EMG Biofeedback is a specialized device that measures the action potential created from a muscle to create a digital representation of the muscle activity on a computer monitor. This can be used to help a patient better understand how to use their muscles appropriately.
Trigger Point Dry Needling
Functional trigger point dry needling of both skeletal muscle and connective tissue can be ultilized to minimize pain. The identification and stimulation of these trigger points can “reboot” the muscle to alleviate both the original problem area as well as the secondary pain. Dry needling can be used to decrease symptoms of Overactive Bladder when appropriate.
